Sometimes, our animal welfare partners need a little
help. Such was the case with Daisy Mae who was surrendered
to a local shelter in the hopes of being adopted.
Unfortunately, she was far too scared to be a good candidate
for adoption. She was really struggling at the shelter so we
were asked if we’d take her. We had room, so we agreed.
Daisy Mae is a reluctant feral. While she pretends to not
like humans, if we sit quietly, she’ll come around slowly
and allow us to pet her. She wants love so badly that she’ll
set aside her fear. We’re working to build her trust so she
will feel more relaxed.
