Ellie

Ellie is our resident character. She’s always up for action and adventure. Ellie came to us from a veterinarian in Austin. Someone had dropped her off with a severe injury to one eye. Sadly, it couldn’t be saved and the vet removed it. The vet was looking for someone to adopt her that was experienced with blind cats and we accepted her into the Sanctuary. She’s been entertaining us ever since!

So many cats have very unique stories, and they all deserve a loving sponsor. However, from the moment I saw Ellie's picture, so cute, looking like she's smiling and winking, I knew she would be our first sponsored kitty at Blind Hope Cat Rescue.
