Meeka

Meeka came to us from a hoarding situation around Russellville, AR. She was trapped by a rescue group but she was determined to be completely blind and had nowhere to go. Our ophthalmologist confirmed she was born blind. Other than a slight cold when she arrived, our vet confirmed this dainty girl is in good health, although it appears she had kittens earlier this year. She is not used to a lot of human interaction yet so we're giving her plenty of space. Using her whiskers, excellent hearing, and long whiskers, she's quickly mapped out the sanctuary in her head, finding her favorite beds and food with ease. We know it's just a matter of time before she's a certified lap cat!
