Anchovy

Sometimes our work requires us to step in to help cats on the other side of the world. Anchovy came from the streets of Thailand. He was at SoiDog for months and no one would adopt him due to his FIV+ status. His situation was urgent. We knew we could help and arranged to have him flown from Thailand to Houston where he was picked up. Soon after his arrival to our sanctuary, we discovered he was completely blind in one eye and slowly going blind in the other. It confirmed he came to the right place!

Anchovy was such a lover. Anchovy was always the first one on your lap and adored having his head and nose rubbed slowly. He would fall asleep if you hit just the right spot. He loved sleeping with Buddy or Jack.

Anchovy was a special little guy and we miss him so much. We are so blessed to have had this special boy in our lives. Rest in peace sweet Anchovy ... until we meet again.
