Ruby
Ruby was trapped by a warehouse worker in Austin. She had sneaked inside and repeatedly tripped their alarm system at night. They asked she not be returned. The area was industrial and she had little hope of finding shelter or food so after she was spayed, she came to live at the Sanctuary. Ruby suddenly started having seizures in late October 2024. They quickly escalated and our vet determined she had a brain tumor. Once her quality of life became poor, we made the decision to let her go. Over the previous year, she had finally allowed us to pet her and she loved the attention. She knew she was loved.
