Simon

Simon arrived at the Sanctuary by accident. We were at a municipal shelter helping to pick up another cat to transport to rescue. The staff person brought out Simon as a little kitten. When we told them it was the wrong cat, she begged us to take him as he was scheduled to be euthanized that afternoon.

He was the sweetest and most social boy and was friends with everyone at the sanctuary. He could usually be found snuggling with one or multiple cats when he wasn't in the kitchen looking for a snack.

Simon had chronic health issues the last couple of years of his life and though he fought valiantly, he was unable to beat the cancer that eventually claimed his life. There is a huge void in our hearts and at the sanctuary with the loss of this precious boy. Rest in peace sweet Simon...we love you, miss you, and will forever hold sweet memories of you
in our hearts.
